YouTube, which the Turkish government banned two weeks ago, is officially back online in Turkey.
The lower court whose order had been being cited by the Turkish government as justification for banning YouTube in Turkey has invalidated its order.
As a result the Turkish government has lifted its ban on YouTube in Turkey.
This is in line with the Turkish Constitutional Court's (Supreme Court) ruling last week that such bans were infringements on the people's rights to free speech and information.
The Turkish government's ban on Twitter was lifted last Thursday following the Constitutional Court's ruling.
